Hi, and welcome! 💐 BrideHue is a free little tool that helps brides and bridesmaids match dress colors across Azazie, Birdy Grey, David’s Bridal, Kennedy Blue and Revelry. Pick a color you love and we’ll show you its closest twins at the other brands.

Every bridesmaid brand helps you match within its own colors. BrideHue matches across brands, so each bridesmaid can shop where she likes, in the size, fit and budget that works for her, and the whole party still looks coordinated.

Screen colors are approximate

Our colors are matched from each brand’s swatch data, so results are close but not guaranteed. Phone screens, lighting and product photography all shift color, and fabrics (chiffon, satin, velvet) read differently in person. Treat our matches as a shortlist, then order physical swatches from each brand and compare them side by side in daylight before anyone buys.

How we match colors

For each color we estimate a hex value from the brand’s own swatch imagery. Azazie publishes on-screen swatch colors in its product data; for Birdy Grey, Kennedy Blue, Revelry and David’s Bridal we sample the center of their fabric swatch photos. David’s Bridal photos run darker, so we white-balance each one against the white paper card in the photo.

We then convert colors to CIELAB and rank them by CIEDE2000 (ΔE), the industry-standard measure of how different two colors look to the human eye. Our labels map to it like this: Twin = ΔE under 3 (practically identical), Very close = under 6, Close = under 10, Similar mood = the nearest that brand carries.
